Five Generations of Craft
From a small family workshop in India to a modern menswear brand — this is the thread that ties it all together.
A Family Business, Still
TieBowTie began not as a startup pitch, but as the next chapter of a family that has worked with fine textiles for generations. What started as hand-cut ties for local tailors has grown into a brand shipped worldwide — but the hands doing the cutting, stitching, and finishing are still the same hands that learned the craft from their fathers and grandfathers.
We design in small batches, work directly with our weavers, and refuse to compromise on the silk we use. Every tie carries that history.
Craft, Step By Step
Every tie passes through the same hands and the same care our family has practiced for generations.
01
Sourcing
We hand-select mulberry silk from trusted mills, checking every roll for weight, sheen, and drape.
02
Cutting
Each pattern is cut by hand following templates refined over five generations.
03
Stitching
Our artisans stitch every seam and fold by hand — no shortcuts, no machines rushing the process.
04
Finishing
Every finished piece is pressed, inspected, and packed with care before it leaves our workshop.
Keep the Craft Alive
To protect and pass forward a five-generation tradition of fine tailoring, while making it accessible to a new generation of modern gentlemen — one hand-finished tie at a time.
A Global Family Name
To grow TieBowTie into a name recognized worldwide for quality and heritage, while staying rooted in the same family workshop where it all began — soon fulfilling orders from both India and Canada.
Rooted in a Legacy That Predates Us
Long before TieBowTie had a name, our family was already working with silk — cutting, dyeing, and stitching in small workshops across India. Five generations later, that same knowledge runs through every tie we make. It is not a story we tell for marketing; it is simply where we come from, and it shapes every decision we make about quality, patience, and craft.
